Nine Worlds 2018!
The crew is heading out on expedition again! This weekend (August 10-12th 2018) we’re heading once more to NineWorlds, a celebration of all things geeky that London has to offer. And, once again, after a very successful stint last year, we shall be running the Rusty Quill RPG Corner in the Games Lounge (details below).
In addition to the gaming room, you can find the following crew at specific times, namely:
Helen Gould (aka Azu)
– Speaker, Trapped in TV tropes: female characters and constraint – Friday, 6.45pm, Reims
– Moderator, Who is Wakandan? Representation in Black Panther – Saturday, 10pm, Cremant
– Speaker, “Will we float too?” a discussion of race & gender in Stephen King’s IT – Sunday, 11.45pm, Epernay
– Speaker, The boundaries of humanity in Black Mirror – Saturday, 3.15pm, Alsace
In the Roleplaying Corner, Jonny Sims (writer/performer, The Magnus Archives), Helen Gould and Anil Godigamuwe (Community Manager) will be joined by RQ Friends Grant Howitt, Sasha McKenna, Ross Barlow & Reiley Daniels to run a variety of RPGs throughout the weekend. Games being run are: NineWorlds 2018 RQ RPG Schedule
If you’re heading to NineWorlds this weekend (and tickets are still available), do pop by and say Hi! We’re always happy to meet fans and you might also spot a wild Bryn Monroe (Hamid) strolling the halls…
