Since the Great Darkness of 1999, all manner of strange and terrible artifacts continue to be discovered around the world. Kelly Bair

With an MEd in Higher Education and a B.A. in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Hawai’i at Hilo, Kelly’s foray into voice acting began in 2019. She has shared her versatile voice with a number of audio fiction podcasts, including Maeltopia, The Grey Rooms, and The NoSleep Podcast.

The recording in question dates back to 2008 and appears to document an investigation spearheaded by a detective named John Gable from the Hainsville Police Department in Hainsville, Washington. Gable was at the forefront of the investigation into the notorious killer known as "the Comic," named for the macabre, theatrical scenes they arranged with their victims. Since stepping down from his position, Gable's current whereabouts remain a mystery.  The Comic is thought to still be at large.

After the profound darkness of 1999, numerous myths arose in the wake of the millions of deaths that occurred. Consequently, deities from ancient religions were adapted to serve specific roles, one of which was to protect the deceased. Due to the sheer number of deaths, corpse hunting evolved into a lucrative profession. Many individuals were willing to pay exorbitant sums to locate their deceased loved ones. The recording at hand was received from an anonymous source in 2012, chronicling the investigation of a corpse hunter team searching for a wealthy couple's son. Attempts to contact the couple for comments were unsuccessful.

On June 26th, 2007, Alex Merley, - a well-known journalist and writer - was allowed into the ADX Florence Facility, a super max prison located in Florence, Colorado. The interview became notorious for many reasons, one being that it is the only known interview with a Neo-Psychotic - an individual afflicted with a unique form of psychosis that emerged only after the Great Darkness of 1999. These individuals are often rumored to be capable of strange inhuman feats, although this is a subject of great contention within various academic and medical circles.
