Take a deep dive into the process involved in turning a podcast IP into exciting tabletop games, hosted by Rusty Quill, multi-award-winning podcast production company and producers of the world’s most popular audio fiction horror story The Magnus Archives.

Joined by Monte Cook Games (Cypher System, Numenara) and Indie Boards and Cards (Coup, The Resistance, Kodama), topics they will cover include how to use audio to create new experiences in tabletop; talking about the design process involved in turning audio experiences into tabletop games; and giving tips on running successful Crowdfunding campaigns for your tabletop games.

Each of these companies are giants of their industry, able to bring their own unique, tried and tested perspectives that have led to award-winning games and podcasts. You won’t want to miss it!

Take on the mysteries of the Archives in this live play session of The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game, the record breaking TTRPG based on the world’s most popular horror podcast!

Join players from gaming and podcast titans Monte Cook Games, Indie Boards and Cards and Rusty Quill as they examine what lurks in the Archives of the Magnus Institute, an organisation dedicated to researching the esoteric and the weird.

Powered by the Cypher System, The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game will challenge and terrify players and audience alike, with an expert Monte Cook GM guiding our investigators through the Archives, as they dig into the supernatural and attempt to hold back the machinations of entities that threaten humanity.

What is the UK Games Expo?

UK Games Expo (UKGE) is the largest tabletop Games Convention in the UK representing all aspects of the tabletop gaming hobby under one roof including TTRPGs, Boardgames, Cardgames, Miniatures games and more. At the convention there are opportunities to demo new games, buy games, play games and attend events and seminars!

What is The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game?

The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game is an award-winning TTRPG created by Monte Cook Games.

For 200 years, the Magnus Institute has quietly collected statements like these from people of all walks of life, detailing their personal experiences with the supernatural. What is The Magnus Protocol Mysteries?

The Magnus Protocol Mysteries is a mystery-solving game created by Indie Boards and Cards.

The Magnus Protocol Mysteries game is an immersive, supernatural, mystery-solving experience set in the universe of The Magnus Protocol. Work alongside characters, Alice, Sam, Gwen and Celia as you investigate the circumstances of one of six chiling paranatural incidents. Each case is composed of dozens of different pieces of evidence - from receipts to witness statements to photographs and even fully voice acted audio recordings. You will need to read through all the evidence carefully to solve the puzzles, connect the dots and uncover the truth of the mystery before you!

There are no time limits, and it works as a game for a group or for an individual.
