Fan Works Notice

We have recently published an easy reference document to help give a little more guidance to those seeking to make fan works, fancasts and other pieces of derivative media under our Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence.

We support our fans and encourage their work, art and expression. (Indeed our upcoming Instagram launch seeks to better celebrate and create a repository for amazing fan art in picture and film but more on that soon).

Unfortunately, it has recently came to our attention that some infringing works have been produced. We seek to curb this as ultimately it can negatively impact our licensing position and can be unfair on the hardworking fan creators following the rules to the letter.
